A classically trained singer, Liz Racster comes to acting from the
world of musical theater and opera. Educated at the New England
Conservatory of Music in Boston, her favorite roles include: Susanna,
Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” and Cinderella, “Into the Woods.” While
in New York City, Liz was a resident player with Stone Soup Theatre
Arts, playing the lead in the company's original work, “Breathe Free,”
and later, Lear, in Vaclev Havel’s “The Memorandum.” She studied voice
at The Juilliard School, and acting at Michael Howard Studios, and
Herbert Berghof (HB) Studio in New York. Now based in Los Angeles, Liz
has appeared regularly on the hit FOX Network television show, "Hell's
Kitchen," as a server, and on ABC's "Boston Legal," as a paralegal. Recently she co-starred in a pilot for Ripe TV
by the UCB-based sketch comedy troupe, Quiet Library
(www.quietlibrary.com), and portrayed a troubled young woman in
"Vitamins," an indie feature adaptation of the Raymond Carver short
story by the same name, directed by Chris O'Keefe and funded by the
Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
